The idea of travelling on your own may be a scary prospect. You are probably worried about getting lost or getting bored while abroad. But here's the thing ; solo travellers have a lot of freedom in making decisions. You can decide where to go,how long to stay and plan your own itinerary.


When travelling alone, take care of your valuables. Do not carry very heavy jewellery or expensive electronic gadgets. Your valuables can attract undue attention and make you a likely target for robbers,also while carrying money,avoid keeping a huge stash on you. Divide it up and store in different places. Try using traveller's cheque or credit cards.


If you are travelling by train or car it's best to ensure you reach your destination during the day.
Making your way after sundown can get a bit intimidating. Areas around bus and train station can be deserted. Arriving by after noon will ensure you have adequate time to find your way to the hotel and check-in before dark.

This one is for all the women. To avoid attractive extra attention. It's best to dress a little conservatively. Try and do some research about the place you are about to visit and what the local dressing style is like. While shorts and sleeveless tee is perfectly acceptable in Goa. In certain parts of the North India it may cause stares.

It can be intimidating for first time solo travellers to make their way on their own. Ensure you have read up about the place,the closest tourist centers,modes of transport,etc. So that you are not totally lost. Carry mobile phone if possible and a tourist guide so that you can ask for your whereabouts.

Make copies of your passport , hotels stay confirmation and other travel documents. Carry a copy on you,as well as leave a few behind with your close family and friends. In case of any emergency ,they will know where to contact and if you misplace your documents they can provide a copy.

If a householder moulds himself according to the circumstances just like nature moulds herself according to season and performs his karma then only shall he acquire happiness. One who does this successfully gains in all walks of life.


The word karma is derived from the sanskrit kri,'todo' . All action is karma.. Technically, this word also means the effects of actions. In connection with metaphysics it sometimes means the effects of which our past actions were the causes.


Karma moves in two directions. If we act virtuously,the seed we plant will result in happiness. If we act non virtuously,the result is suffering.

If you want to experience something of life beyond the physical existence,you need to go beyond the five sense.Right now, you can only talk about God; you cannot experience the fruit beyond the peel and access that which is the source of creation, there is a possibility for you to live every moment of your life in the company of the Divine- an intelligence and competence that will make your life magical and blissful.

If you do not utilise this possibility,why exist here as a human being?If we have just come here to eat, sleep,reproduce and die one day,we don't need this kind of intelligence ;we don't need this kind of body.


Once you have come here as a human being,you have come with the capability of knowing and experience life beyond the physical dimension. That is what meditation of the five senses; to know and sphere of that which is physical; to know and experience life at the source,not the surface .

Today, the number of hospitals beds available is seen as a parameter for urbanisation are economic growth. In reality it should be other way around. The ultimate healthcare goal should be eradicate the need for hospitals; Today people spend half of their health is in earning wealth and then spend all of their wealth in regaining their lost health. And we consider this a sign of progress.

In days of your , there was no CT scan , no MRI yet the benchmark was much higher . People live longer , they were healthier and more importantly they were happier.

We need to look at urban healthcare in a holistic manner. Just creating healthcare in frastructure will not build a healthy society. Today, there is hatred in society there is greed,fear and because of this depression and stress has set on. Stress is one of the biggest cause of urban health problems, it is appalling to hear that in the coming decades depression will be the number one disease in the world.

So what is being healthy? If you are feeling rough inside, then you are not healthy; if your mind is stiff and not calm, you are not mentally healthy. When your emotions are rough, you are emotionally not healthy.

Yoga is the best meditation for keep you systems free from stress. Yoga release your tension , negative emotion and help one to live in the present moment,

In this busy world we care very little for our emotional and spiritual needs. Neither at home nor in school,do we learn how to release negative emotions.

Hello,

What do you think about god? Where will you find God or peace of mind?

I seek god within myself, I believe that by living honestly we can be in touch with god. I don't need to find god outside, I try to live by simple principles and with honesty, I find god is present everywhere,we just need to be connected.


I connected to him by spending time with myself,,by being calm and observing my deeds and actions. I think silence is a powerful tool to connect with god. It also gives you immense energy.

I believe that kismat is defined by our karma and it's always revolving. Your karma reflects on your kismat, so one should always do good deeds, Never stop from helping anyone . The universe will gift you something for your goodness.

God is everywhere , just be honest and and be happy,

Sleep well

Hello,

For adults , it is necessary to sleep atleast 7-8 hours daily

A comfortable bed and room temperature are a must.

Try to ban television, laptops and music players in bedroom.

Before going to bed, abstain from tea, coffee, or any other form of caffeine for four hours.

Maintain a sleep diary or you can call it a worry diary too. Before going to bed, write down all that bothered you during the day. and leave it there; Go to bed with a peaceful mind.

Try to have your dinner around the same time everyday.

Avoid heavy meals at night. Have your dinner at least one and a half hours before going to bed

Many people find it easy to sleep after having a glass of hot milk post-dinner.

Having heavy alcohol at night can also disturb your sleep.

Exercise regularly.

Yoga and meditation help in lowering anxiety , for those who find it difficult to fall asleep.

Use a basin full of water to rinse and use the sink to wash utensils rather than allowing the water to run continuously.


Rinse pots and pans instead of allowing water to run while you scrape it clean.


Fruits and vegetables may be washed in a pan of water instead of running tap water.

Reuse water left over from cooked vegetables or steamed food as source of nutritious soup.

Use a microwave of defrost frozen food instead of thawing it under the running tap .

Water your plants using the water used for rinsing fruits and vegetables.

If you have fish tanks , when changing the water to clean the tank , do not throw the water down the drain, Use this nutrient rich water to water your plants.

If you have pets, every time you pour fresh water into its bowl, use the stale water for the trees and shrubs.

Like-wise ice cubes fall on the ground accidentally, don't throw them in the sink ; drop them in your house plant instead.

Some plants require lots of water while some require to be wanted once in two days, group your plants in a way that those that require less water do not receive excess.


Keep the tap turned off when brushing teeth and shaving.

Reduce your shower time by a minute or two and there will still be a lot of water saved.

When washing clothes remember to wash the dark coloured clothes in cold water as this will save both water and energy while your clothes still keep their colours.

Pain and foolishness lead to great bliss and complete knowledge, for eternal wisdom created nothing under the sun is vain.


You may fool all the people some of the time,you can even fool some of the people all of the time,but you cannot fool all of the people all the time.


He dares to be a fool,and that is the first step in the direction of wisdom.


People do not wish to appear foolish, to avoid the appearance of foolishness , they are willing to remain actually fools.


You grow up the day you have your first real laugh - at yourself.
